Cathy Alford

Cathy Elizabeth Hall Alford, 60, of Lizella passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 2, 2019. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at United Community Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Pastor Cory Maurer will officiate.
Cathy was born on September 29, 1958 in Macon to the late Vernard and Lucille Towns Hall. She was retired from Bass Pro Shop where she worked in warehouse distribution. She was a faithful member of United Community Church and loved helping with AWANA and children's church. Cathy was by far her happiest when she was spending time with her grandsons, she was always there to support them and cheer them on during their games. She also loved art and loved to paint.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister, Linda Howell
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her husband of 25 years Donald J. Alford III, Daughter; Ashley Hall (Idus Edwards), step sons;Ricky Gerrard, Adam Alford, and Allen Alford,. Two grandsons; Landon Hall, Dawson Hall. Sister; Gail Story (Steve), nephew; Bryan Gibson (Sara), Scott Howell (Tami) and Kevin Howell. Great niece Ansley Gibson and four fur babies whom she loved dearly.
