Cassandra Danielle Harrison, 32, of Byron, GA, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2023, following surgery. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 13, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Cassandra was born on July 9, 1991, in Macon, GA. She was a member of St. Andrew Christian Church in Macon, GA. and was employed since 2015 as a Program Manager at Robins Air Force Base. A gifted student, she graduated from Crawford County High School in Roberta, GA, and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Georgia College & State University, followed by an M.B.A. from Mercer University.
Cassi, as she was affectionately known, was known for her humor, intelligence, and her love for escape rooms and other puzzle games. She was also deeply devoted to animals and helped to establish PAWS in Middle Georgia Animal Rescue. She particularly enjoyed fostering kittens. A voracious reader, Cassi helped establish a book club and greatly valued her friendships in the club. She was a knowledgeable sports fan and cherished spending time with her two dogs.
She was preceded in death by grandparents J.T. and Geraldine Powell, Harry Harrison, and Ivy and Mildred Bridger.
Cassi is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Linda Powell Bridger of Byron, GA, and Terry D. Harrison of New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is also survived by her grandmother, Sherry Harrison of Macon, GA, many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her two beloved dogs, Athena and Isis, and her pet "sister," Sadie.
