Cary Putnal

Cary Wayne Putnal, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.in the Wesley United Methodist Church. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m, till service time in the church. Burial will follow the service in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Born in Ray City, Georgia, he was the son of the late Wayne and Ellen Gaskin Putnal. He was a retired manager of Carol's Moving and Storage and was worked with many moving companies around the Macon area.
Cary was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, where he attended the Upper Room Sunday School Class and attended the Men's Breakfast and Bible Study Group. He also was a past member of the Macon Touchdown Club and a U.S. Navy veteran serving at the end of World War II.
He is preceded in death by a son, Mike Putnal.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Putnal, Children, Kimberly Putnal Maddox(Art), Bobby Hawkins, and Gregory Hawkins. Sisters, Dorothy Davis and Nelda Vance. Grandchildren, Charles William O'Neal, Kevin Lee Hawkins, Audrey Putnal, Cary Wayne Putnal, Morgan Putnal, Connie Moore, and Jennifer Hawkins; Three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
