Carolyn Virginia Lyons Davis

Carolyn Virginia Lyons Davis, 90, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Monday, July 14, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, with Pastor, William Rand officiating. Immediately following Mrs. Davis will be laid to rest at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, July 13, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born on June 17, 1935, in Troy, Alabama, to the late Mr. Fred Alford Lyons and Mrs. Myrtle Knott Lyons. She was a homemaker that made a wonderful, loving home for her family. Mrs. Davis will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Davis; sons, Danny Wilson, John Scott Wilson, and David Wilson; and nine siblings.

Left to cherish Mrs. Davis's memory are her sons, Mark Wilson, Ricky Wilson; daughter-in-law, Karen Wilson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
