Carolyn Hartley

Carolyn Bartlett Hartley, 90, of Macon, Georgia, passed away January 6, 2018. She was born April 5, 1927 to JW and Gladys Ross Bartlett in Macon, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Hulon Thomas Hartley, and had one loving son, Samuel Neal. Carolyn spent a majority of her professional career working as a bookkeeper at the Macon Water Authority where she retired in 1982. An avid music lover, she blessed a number of Presbyterian Church congregations with her talent of playing the organ. With a knack for gardening, she took pride in the beauty of her patio and yard. She was happiest when she was cooking, caring for, and spending time with her loved ones.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was full of grace and possessed impeccable style; she will be missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
