Buford Mark Cox

Burford Mark Cox, 64, of Dry Branch, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. Funeral services will be private.

Mr. Cox was born on March 9, 1960, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Mr. Lynwood Joe Cox and Mrs. Barbara Frances Ledger Cox. He was a welder by trade and a member of Shurlington Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Cox spent much of his free time tinkering in his yard, helping his neighbors, and fishing. He had deep affection and respect for animals, often extending beyond his pets.Mr. Cox will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his brothers, William Joe Cox and Lynwood Anthony Cox.

Left to cherish Mr. Cox's memory are his siblings, Judy Cox Hendrickson (Layne) and Malcolm Bruce Cox, Sr. (Diane); sister-in-law, Linda Cox; and many nieces and nephews.
