Bridgett Camelita Phillips, 47, of Macon, Georgia; went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 14, 2024. Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel CME Church; 1668 Pio Nono Ave Macon, Georgia. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time, and all are welcome to attend. Immediately following Ms. Bridgett will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Bridgett was born on April 13, 1977, in Macon, Georgia to Mrs. Brenda Phillips and Roger Eugene Phillips. Ms. Bridgett is described as a deeply caring and spiritual mother who had a passion for baking and crafting amazing meals for her family. She was a devoted Christian who put everyone else before herself; she was always there if you needed her; she was dedicated and passionate about caring for others, which manifested in her professional career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and professional phlebotomist. When she wasn't serving others, she could be found writing in her journal, traveling, or shopping, always on the lookout for that elusive "deal." She had many words to live by, but above all else she would urge everyone to "Be Kind."
Ms. Bridgett is predeceased by her brother, Shawn Christopher Oliver.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Oliver Christion Phillips, Jarez Daeshon McKay, Chandler Jaquez Phillips; daughter, Taylor Alicia McKay, Kendall Lillian Phillips, Madison Isabella McKay; brother, Ricky Gordon; sisters, Daphne Oliver, Tara Phillips, Brittany Phillips; aunts,
Rose Curry, Shirley Bush, Joann Oliver, Betty Brown; uncles, Charlie Phillips, Andre' Bush;
2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, related by blood or love.
Ms. Bridgett had a nurturing, caring, and kind soul that touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
