Brian Lawson Paul

Brian Lawson Paul also known as "Butterbean" and "Butter" went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A Memorial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon and will be officiated by Pastor Ronnie Hollis. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
Brian was born in Macon, Georgia on September 30, 1960 to the union of Chesley Jack Paul and Doris Pournell Paul. He attended Highland Hills Baptist Church and Northeast High School. Brian was an over the road trucker who owned his own trucking company, B P Trucking, and traveled the Southeast exclusively with his trusty travel companion, Spot, who was always by his side. Aside from his trucking business, Brian had an avid love for The Allman Brothers Band.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Randy Broome. Left to cherish Brian's memory are his beloved siblings Coral Paul Broome Stansell (Bill) and Bruce Carlton Paul (Nora), plus numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Brian loved everyone very much and it brings comfort to know Brian is in Heaven reunited with his parents. He loved the Lord with all his heart.
