Brian Colquitt

Brian, 49, beloved son of Robert Willis Colquitt and Mary Ann Bateman (Gil), passed unexpectedly Sunday, July 31st 2016. Brian was born in Thomaston, GA.; he attended Southwest High School in Macon and Georgia Southern University. He was preceded, in death, by his grandparents Onnie and Mamie Colquitt, O.W. Portwood and Vannie Turner Livingston, all of Oglethorpe County, GA., father R.W. Colquitt, Oglethorpe County, GA. and nephew Brad Christopher Colquitt. Brian is survived by daughter Hannah Lawson Colquitt, of Macon, GA., brothers Robby (Dianne) Colquitt, Macon, Ga., Danny (Diane) Colquitt, Mechanicsville, VA., nephews: Cameron (Katherine) Colquitt and Garret Colquitt, nieces: Tara Colquitt, Haylee (Marc) Link and Casey Colquitt, along with and a host of cousins and friends. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. A memorial service is scheduled, for Saturday August 6th, 11:00am, at Fairhaven Funeral Home: 4989 Mt Pleasant Church Road, Macon, GA. 31216. A family and friend visitation and gathering will follow, at 209 Wimbledon Place, Macon, 31211, from 1:00 – 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Macon Duplicate Bridge Club (PO Box 7856, Macon, GA. 31204).
