Brenda loved the lord with all her heart and served him faithfully. Brenda graduated from Southwest High school and went straight to work. She retired from the Robins Air Force Base on June 10th, 1976, as an Administration Assistant. Brenda was a servant for the Lord in so many ways and she was very gifted. She owned a store in the Westgate mall called Flowers Plus. She traveled and completed several arts and crafts shows at local malls. Brenda would make quilts, blankets, crochet baby booties and give them out to people who asked for them or requested her to make them. She used to cater weddings and make the flower arrangements. Brenda would always send a card, cook a meal, and visit the sick members of the church and family. She and Joy conducted several senior meetings here at the church where they played bingo and gave away nice door prizes. Brenda had a servant heart of gold and everyone who met her loved her. She visited Russia one year with the women's ministry group here at the church. She has been to Colorado with one of her best friends Sandra. Can you believe she came back with a "fake tattoo" (her grandchildren had a fit, it took them a minute to realize it was fake). Brenda liked to go and play bingo with the grandchildren at the VFW on Friday nights. She also liked to scratch a lottery ticket every once in a while. Brenda loved to eat Cheetos with her Great great grandson Jordan aka Dooty man. Even in her last days she was always checking up on other people and going to church. Anyone that really knew Brenda knew she had a famous nickname (Gangsta Granny). She would make you laugh and cry at the same time. She would tell you if you were wrong and let you know when you were doing right. One thing Brenda always said is that the Lord is coming back real soon, make sure you are ready. She will forever be loved, missed and remembered in our hearts.
