Brenda Faye Smith Rogers, 62, of Macon, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 26, at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, with Pastor, Ronnie Hollis, officiating.
Brenda was born on November 5, 1960, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Franklin Smith and Mrs. Betty Jean Wesley Smith. She retired from Gulf Apparel where she worked as a seamstress. She spent much of her free time at Amerson Park on the Ocmulgee River, fishing, and taking trips to the mountains. But most important of all, Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Russell Cameron; sisters, Tonya Michelle Wilson and Wanda Sue Thomaston; and brother, Raymond N. Smith.
Brenda is survived by her fiancé, Ken Adkins; daughter, Tasha Rogers (Jeremy); grandchildren, Colby Cannon, Cameron Cannon, Carsin Buckbee, and Noah Buckbee; sisters, Diann Tucker (Steve) and Vivian Williams (Mark Flanders); several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
