Mrs. Brenda Scoggins Irvin, age 69, of Washington, GA passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 after an extended illness. Mrs. Irvin worked several years as supervisor in the textile industry, then as homemaker and caregiver.
Mrs. Irvin is survived by a brother, Bobby Scoggins, Danielsville, GA; sisters, Shirley Coile, Bowman, GA and Carol Epps, Macon, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.W. (Bill) Irvin; Her parents Thomas E. Scoggins & Ollie Tucker Scoggins; brothers George Scoggins, Paul Scoggins, Raymond Scoggins, James Scoggins, and Darral Scoggins; Sister, Joyce Adams. A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday. October 20, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Berean Baptist Church, 5251 Columbus Road, Macon, Georgia.
