Brenda Arnett

Brenda Clampitt Arnett, 71, of Macon, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 13, 2021. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Northway Church, 5915 Zebulon Rd, Macon, Georgia, 31210. Funeral services to celebrate her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, Brenda will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Brenda was born on November 26, 1950, in Richmond, Virginia to the late Gilmer and Bettie Clampitt. She worked the majority of her life as an Administrative Assistant for several companies including Metropolitan Life, Georgia Farm Bureau and most recently Macon Bibb County in Human Resources. Brenda was a faithful member of Northway Church for over 20 years, where she was a member of the 60+ Sunday School Class and Linda Larsen Home Team. She loved her Lord, and her church. Above everything, Brenda loved her family, she was an amazing Mother. Her entire life changed when her two daughters made her a Grandma. Her five grandchildren were the light of her life, and the center of her universe. She was their biggest supporter and never missed a sporting event or dance recital. In her free time, she loved trips to the beach, and the pool with them.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings; Robin Shell and Wayne Clampitt.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her daughters; Jennifer Kemp (Bryan) and Jacqueline Van Tone (Kevin). Grandchildren; Madison Kemp, Molly Kemp, Caitlyn Van Tone, Connor Van Tone, Chloe Van Tone. Brother-in-law; Billy Shell, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat, Gracie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations please be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Brenda's sister, Robin Shell.
