Brannon Christopher McClammy, 27, of Lizella, Georgia, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM in The Family Life Center at Lizella Baptist Church. The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation at 10:00 AM until service time. Immediately following, Brannon will be laid to rest in the Sparta Cemetery; 277 Hamilton Street Sparta, Georgia 31087. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate all services.
Brannon was born in Macon, Georgia to Mr. Joe Virgil McClammy, Jr., and Danna Davis McClammy. He was a devoted employee of the Robins Air Force Base, and was apart of the 78th Civil Engineer's Group. He cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in fishing, and delight in spending time with family and friends. His passion for horses, especially in calf roping, was unmatched, leaving an indelible mark in this world.
Brannon's kind and caring nature defined him. He was ever ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, showing unmatched generosity at all times. He was a one-of-a-kind individual, known for his love of Xbox gaming and his deep appreciation for his grandma's cooking. His smile, laughter and love was contagious. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Brannon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Jean Davis; and uncles, Ricky Annis, Andy McClammy and Chris Davis.
Left to cherish their precious memories with Brannon is his loving parents, Joe and Danna McClammy; grandparents, Joe Virgil McClammy, Sr and Mary McClammy; aunts, Gay Askew (Ricky), Terri Alley, Shirley Annis, and Linda McClammy; cousins, Wesley Askew, Brittany Askew, Laurie Askew, Christy Clemmons (Jeff), Amanda Astin (Wesley), Sarah O'Quinn (Ryan), and Matthew Annis (Alyssa); Great cousins, Davis Clemons, Hazel Askew, Maddox Astin, Adeline Astin, Olivia O'Quinn, and Sophia O'Quinn. His faithful Australian Shepard, Ruger and a host of loving family members, and friends.
