Brandon Sanders, 29, of Macon, Georgia; ran into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Saturday, July 27, 2024, surrounded by the warm embrace of his loving family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be 11 AM Wednesday July 31, 2024, at Mikado Baptist Church, 6751 Houston Rd Macon, Georgia; with Pastor Rusty Smith officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior, and all are welcome to attend. Brandon will be laid to rest immediately following services at Glen Haven memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Brandon was born February 9, 1995, in Macon, Georgia to Jeff and Kim Sanders. Brandon is described as a fun-loving history buff, who could describe in great detail the story behind whatever monument he happened to be visiting; vividly explaining the history of the USS Maine at Arlington National Cemetery. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs or his favorite NASCAR driver Chase Elliot. When he wasn't watching sports, he could be found playing videogames or having extensive adventures at Disney with his caring family.
Brandon is predeceased by paternal grandfather; "Papa" Tommy Sanders, maternal grandparents; "Memaw" Barbara Manders and "Granddaddy" Billy P. Manders.
In addition to his parents, Jeff and Kim Sanders, left to cherish his memory are maternal grandmother "Meme" Jeanette Sanders, uncles; Ronnie (Shelia) Sanders, Tim (Lillian) Sanders, Greg (Kim) Manders, and many extended family and friends including the Emericks and Rustins.
Brandon will always be remembered by those whose lives he impacted.
In lieu of flowers the family graciously requests donations be made in Brandon's honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at www.mda.org .
