Bonnie Harrison

Mrs. Bonnie Faye Harrison, 91, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 8, 2021 at Pruitt Health in Macon, Georgia. Born in Soperton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Hardy Smith and Girtrude Arl Davis Smith. She was the last surviving child from a family of ten children.
Bonnie and her husband, the late Charles Curtis Harrison, lived most of their married life in Warner Robins, Georgia. Bonnie retired from a nursing career where she served as a nurse in the Taylor Memorial Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga. , the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Ga., and lastly in the Coliseum Park Hospital in Macon, Georgia. She loved nursing and helping the sick throughout her life. Following retirement, Bonnie and Charles moved to Blythe Island Georgia. She was a faithful member of the Blythe Island Baptist Church. During retirement, Bonnie enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, and bird watching.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her son, Charles Erwin Harrison, daughter-in-law, Debra Harrison, granddaughter, Claire Harrison, her daughter, Cathy Rice, son-in-law, Jerry Rice, grandson, Jim Page, Jim's wife, April Page, and three great-grandchildren, Garrett Page, Gracelynn Page, and Stetson Page. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Wednesday at the FairHaven Funeral Home in Macon, Ga. from 11:00 A.M. until Noon. A graveside service will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens and Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Craig Walden officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Congregational Care Ministry at Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry.
