Bobby Hallon Whitley, 67, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. A memorial services with military honors will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 12 noon in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Reverend Jerry Fitzpatrick will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation from 11:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home. A private burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Albert and Gertrude Chandler Whitley. He was a corrections officer with the State of Georgia and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Whitley, eight children, six grandchildren and two sisters. Several nieces and nephews.
