Bobby Collins

Bobby Partain Collins, 84, of Byron passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, December 31, 2016. Funeral services to honor her life will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomaston Road Church of Christ with Rob Robinson officiating. Entombment will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Wheeler Rosemond Partain and Opal Mosley Partain. She was a member of the Thomaston Road Church of Christ for 61 years, where she taught the Cradle Roll Sunday School Class. She participated in the sewing and quilting circle and was very involved in the Care Building Food Ministry. One of her true passions in life was fishing and camping and spending time outdoors with her husband.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years; Jerry Collins; children; Jerri Lynn Collins, and Tara Collins Stokes (Tater); brothers; Billy Partain, Steve Partain (Sheryl), Larry Partain, sister, Charlotte Luker (Larry). Grandchildren; Savannah Long and Evan Strawhorn.
