Bobby Chandler

Bobby Chandler, 62, of Lizella, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 11:00 am at Porterfield Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Dotson officiating. Immediately following, Bobby will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.

Bobby was born on May 13, 1960, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late William Leon Chandler and Audrey Woodall Stovall. He was a faithful member of Portfield Baptist Church. Bobby was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He spent much of his time at the Waffle House on Hartley Bridge Road. Bobby will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lee Woodard.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Edna Mae Chandler; brothers, William Larry Chandler (Linda) and Tommy Lee Chandler (Lisa); nephews, Brad Sutton (Angie), Al Avera, and Jody Woodard; niece, Audrey Brown (Chris); longtime caregiver, Betty Peanmon; and several other nieces and nephews.
