Bobbie Nell Gill Williams, 90, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, May 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Joe Bowker will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Gill Sr. and Effie Mae McKinney Gill. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, R. Earl Williams, Sr.
Mrs. Williams was a member of the Berean Baptist Church, where she attended the Prime Timers Sunday School Class and was a part of the telephone prayer ministry. She worked with Southern Bell as a Telephone Operator, with Dr. Corn, a General Surgeon, and with Dr. Newman who was one of the first Orthopedic Surgeon's in Macon. She was a homemaker and raised her three children. After her children were in school, she cared for many children in her home that she loved dearly.
She is survived by her children, Richy Williams (Helena), Wendy Niblett (Darryl) and Ken Williams. Grandchildren, April Thomas (Leo), Amber Bryan (Clay), Joshua Williams (Megan), Kalie Morris (Rickey), Brian Presley (Kelley), and Joel Presley (Jessica); Great grandchildren, Austin Thomas (Marlyn), Tucker Thomas, Harris Bryan, Mattie Bryan, Bertie Williams, Charlotte Morris, Isabella Morris, and Bryant Presley; Great grandson, Baby Williams expected to arrive in October and Great Great Granddaughter, Sumlin Thomas expected to arrive in August.
