Billy Darrell White, 59, of Macon, Georgia unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation. Pastor Billy Goudeau will officiate.
Mr. White was born in Hazelhurst, Georgia on August 31, 1964, to the late Mr. Alton Lee White and Mrs. Carolyn Walker Reed. Billy was of the Baptist faith. As an avid fisherman, he found great joy by the water's edge, casting his line in search of the perfect catch. He was a skilled hunter, finding joy in the thrill of the chase. He spent countless hours getting his hands dirty as a diesel mechanic and car enthusiast. Yet, amidst these passions, he had a soft spot for his friends, his chickens, four-wheeler riding and life in general. Above all, Billy cherished his time with family. His children were the light of his life, and he reveled in the moments spent with them, passing on his love for the great outdoors and imparting valuable life lessons to them. Billy leaves behind a legacy of boundless love, a deep connection to nature, and a commitment to family that will forever be remembered and cherished.
In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by his two sons, Justin Alton White and Thomas Darrell White; and his sister Tammy White.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jordan Hunter White (Hannah) and Jessica Leigh White (Regan); brother, Jimmy White (Laura); sisters, Janice Floyd and Shirley Reed (Kevin); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
