Billy Edward Shelton, 69, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. A memorial gathering will be held at 110 Fred Court, Macon, Georgia 31216 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00p.m.
Born in Ducktown, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Lester Shelton and Edith Pauline Weeks Shelton. He was a construction worker with Warren and Associates in Macon. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time in the garden.
He was preceded in death by one brother; James J.L. Shelton.
He is survived by his wife, June Barfield Shelton, Step-children, Travis Chad Sutherland and Vickie Sutherland Portera (Pete) Siblings, Doris Shelton Marlowe (Rex), Joan Shelton Ryberg, and Larry Shelton (Jeanice). Five grandchildren.
