William "Billy" Edward Farran, Jr, 54, of Fort Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Friday, December 11, 2020 at FairHaven Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Bible Church with Pastor Chet Cooper and Evangelist D.R. Harrison officiating. At a later date, Billy will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
Billy was born on January 13, 1966, in Macon to William E. Farran, Sr and Linda Thompson Walker. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy, and had a love for the water. Billy was an extremely hard-working man, owning and operating his own business, Quality Lawn Care, for the majority of his life, always providing for his family, whom his world revolved around. He was by far his happiest when he was spending time with them, especially his grandson and his wife. In his free time, Billy and his wife loved to travel, especially cruises. He had a love for the Lord, and was a member of Crossroads Bible Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, William E. Farran, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His wife of 28 years; Jena Farran. Four children; Ginny Browning (Michael), Paul Farran, Chris Farran, and Jacob Farran. Grandson; William Browning and a grandchild on the way. Mother; Linda Walker (Don), Sister; Tracie Taylor, and Step mother; Tara Farran. But Billy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
