Beulah "Bea" A. Foster Meservey

Beulah "Bea" A. Foster Meservey, 92, of Macon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 14, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with Dr. Joey Ellis officiating. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Duane Logsdon officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Mrs. Meservey was born on July 21, 1932, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. William Marion Foster and Mrs. Sally Jones Foster. She was the owner operator of Bea's Shoe Junction and a member of Stone Edge Church, where she was heavily active. Mrs. Meservey had many accolades of her lifetime; to name a few, she was chosen many times as the Bibb County Chamber of Commerce Businesswoman of the Year, a lifetime member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, a member of the American Heart Association, and past president of the Twiggs County High School Parents and Teachers Association. In her free time, she also coached basketball and softball. Mrs. Meservey will be most remembered for being a fervent prayer warrior and serving others through her card ministry. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meservey was preceded in death by her husbands, Mr. George Wallace Stewart and Mr. Grandslur Tommy Meservey; sister, Margaret F. Ferguson; and brother, Donald R. Foster.
Left to cherish Mrs. Meservey's memory are her daughters, Beth Davidson (Robert), Marie Phillips (Joe), Lisha Brack (Paul), and Sheila Canady (George, III); grandchildren, Skye Camp (Danny), Robin Davidson (Melissa), Skip Davidson, Shawn Phillips, Cory Phillips, Paige P. Freeman (Todd), Jennifer Logsdon (Duane), Pete Brack (Kimberly), and George Canady, IV; great grandchildren, Jordan Camp, Payton Camp, Miles Davidson, Hugo Davidson, Abigail Burnson (Anthony), Kenzie Freeman, Darby Phillips, Elijah Freeman, Noah Phillips, Piper Phillips, Jonathan Logsdon, Anna Logsdon Slone (Daniel), Jackson Brack, and Levi Brack; great-great grandchildren, Lizzie Burnson and Liam Burnson; sister, Peggy Land; brother, William M. Foster; and several nieces and nephews.
