Betty Ann Westbrook, 76, of Macon, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The family invites friends to join them from 12:00pm – 2:00pm Tuesday March 24, 2026, for a time of visitation at FairHaven Funeral Home. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Macon Memorial Park. Elder Bobby Dumas will be officiating all services.
Betty was born on July 29, 1949, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Miles Bobby Shed and Mrs. Lillie Juanita Shed. A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and found great joy in her relationship with Jesus.
Betty was a woman of strong character and unwavering dedication. She was known for her incredible work ethic, faithfully serving many years before retiring from Walmart. She approached life with determination, resilience, and a spirited personality that earned her the loving description of being a true “spitfire.”
Above all, Betty cherished her family. Her love was fierce, loyal, and generous, and she devoted her life to caring for those she held dear. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, thrift shopping, tending to her garden, and exploring her passion for genealogy and family history. She took great pride in her roots and in preserving the stories of those who came before her.
Betty will be remembered for her kind and giving heart, her feisty spirit, and her steadfast loyalty to those she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Bill Westbrook; and her sisters, Jean Dumas, Marie Wilson, and Myra Braddy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kim Williamson; her brother, Fred Shed; her grandchildren, Logan (Jay) Molton, Tyler (Breanna) Carter, and Lillie Williamson; and her great-grandchildren, Kenadie Molton, Sophia Grace Carter, and Phoenyx Carter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will continue to carry her love and legacy in their hearts.
Betty’s life was a testament to faith, family, and perseverance. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
