Betty Laverne Randall

August 6, 1936 — February 2, 2026

Macon

Betty Randall, 89, of Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026. She will be laid to rest privately at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery beside her beloved husband of 73 years, Robert Randall Sr., whom she loved deeply and missed dearly.

Born on August 6, 1936, in Dublin, Georgia, Betty lived a life rooted in family, faith, and fierce devotion to the people she loved. She was the heart of her family, loving, dependable, and endlessly giving, especially when it came to children. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she had a special way of making each one feel seen, protected, and adored.

Betty was known for her cooking, especially her famous cornbread dressing, which was a staple at family dinners and holiday gatherings. Family meals were sacred to her, loud, loving, and full of stories. When she wasn’t in the kitchen, she could often be found tending her vegetable garden or admiring her azaleas, both of which she cared for with the same dedication she gave her family.

She also loved to shop, with Kohl’s and Sam’s being her favorite stops, and she never passed up a good deal. Betty’s personality was as memorable as her cooking: sarcastic, tough, strong, blunt, and unapologetically herself. Fierce and feisty, with no filter and a sharp wit, she spoke her mind and stood her ground, qualities her family admired and will forever cherish.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Randall Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ted (Shannon) Randall; her daughter, Michelle (Charles) R. Washburn; her daughter-in-law, BJ Randall; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her love, strength, and spirit forward.

Betty Randall leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, resilience, laughter, and unconditional love, a life well lived and a woman who will never be forgotten.
