Betty Bentley

Betty Jane Nipper Bentley, 74, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. A burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Richard "Pearl" Williams will be the funeral celebrant to conduct the service.
Born in Murfeesboro, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lee Nipper Sr. and Christine Opal Brown Nipper. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Gabany, brother, Frank Nipper Jr., sisters, Margie Nipper and Barbara Ray.
Betty retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company where she was a machine operator with 28 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed working at Tattnall Wee Center doing what she loved to do cooking and caring for others. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Betty was a loving mother and nanny and a friend to all she met. Her family was her greatest treasure. She loved family gatherings.
She is survived by her children, Kim Massey (James), Terri Feaster (John), and Michael Nipper (Wendy) Best Friend, Beth Stinchcomb, Grandchildren, Brittaney Davis(Shawn), Kacey Massey, Brianna Mills(Ryan), and Erin Mills Five Great grandchildren, ; Father of her children, Steve Bentley.
