Benita Naomi Sanders Bean, 61 of Lizella, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with burial at 2:00 p.m. in Asbury Cemetery in Wilkerson County. Pastor Evans Brown will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Billy Irby Sanders Sr., and Martha Ann Wiggins Sanders. She was retired from Kroger with 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Cunningham.
Mrs. Bean loved her trips to the beach and the mountains, and was well known for her sweet tea and dressing. Her greatest role in her life was being NANA to all her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her son, Shawn Bean(Katie) Siblings, Alesia Hortman(Bo), Thomas Cunningham, and Billy Sanders Jr. grandchildren, Ava, and Riley. Several nieces and nephews. Best friends, Deryl Wiggins, Tammy Flynn, and Cindy Brunson.
