Barbara Smith

Barbara Revill Smith, 87, of Lizella, passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2018. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.at Bethel United Methodist Church. Dr. David Carter will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon.
Born on March 12, 1930, in Derbyshire, England, Barbara was the daughter of the late Angus Hart, Sr. and Cecilia Turner Hart. She was educated in Derbyshire before moving to Georgia. Barbara was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, where she was played piano.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents as well as her loving husband, Melvin W. Smith, Sr. One grandson; Michael W. Smith and her brother; Angus Hart, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her son; Melvin W. Smith, Jr. (Lynn). Grandson; Melvin W. Smith III (Rachel), niece; Shannon Hart and sister- in- law; Lenora Hart.
