Barbara Miller

Barbara Mullis Miller, 76, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Jimmy Rozier will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Eastman, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Idus Mullis Sr. and Maggie Boutwell Mullis. She was the widow of Johnny Kenneth Miller.
Mrs. Miller moved to Ohio to attend college, before returning to Macon. She retired from civil service from Robins Air Force Base with 30 years of service. After retirement, she continued her education at Central Georgia Technical College.
Mrs. Miller volunteered as a Girls' Softball Asst. Coach and Team Mom for many years at Bloomfield Park and Recreation. She attended the Brookhaven Full Gospel Church and was a member of the VFW Post 658 in Macon.
She is survived by her daughters, Carla Miller, and Shanna "Shay" Miller Hartfield Smith(Paul); grandchildren, Elizabeth Self, Brandon Davis(Lauren), Caitlin Hartfield(Brandon) and Scott Hartfield (Cheyanne); great grandchildren, Elijah Self, Sailor Self, Amelia Davis, Weston Cravey, and Haven Cravey. Son-in-law, Tim "Turtle" Hartfield (Trina). Companion, Gerald Ellis. Uncles and many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, great and great-great Nieces and Nephews.
