Annette Evans

Annette Gibbs Evans, 92, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Rochelle, Georgia. Facial Coverings and social distancing will be appreciated.
Born in Wilcox County, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Gibbs and Mamie White Gibbs. She was the wife of 73 years to the late Idus "Bill" W. Evans. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Scott Jones.
Mrs. Evans was a supervisor with Southern Tile, and worked with Sellers Tile up into her 80's until she retired.
She is survived by her children, Betty Jo Coley, Cathy Hanson(Ken), Donnie Evans, and Mark Evans(Rhonda). Grandchildren, Billy Jones, Tommy Herring, Josh Evans, Cody Gunderson and Tyler Evans. Nine great grandchildren and One great great grandchildren. And her faithful and loving companion Prissy.
