Angelyn Baker Hammond Gilstrap completed her life journey on November 12, 2023.
A lifelong resident of Macon, she was the daughter of C.M. and Alice Baker. She attended Crandall Business College and retired from Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and member emeritus of Elberta Chapter 215 Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Walter Lee (Bud) Hammond, and Olin J. (Buster) Gilstrap III, and daughter, LeeAnn Hammond Hartley.
Mrs. Gilstrap is survived by her daughter, Kay Hammond Barker, of Milledgeville, two granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 17, at Fairhaven Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Corbitt officiating. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
