Angela Boyd
January 15, 1958 — February 24, 2025
Angela Bare Boyd, 67, of Macon, Georgia went to be with her lord on Monday, February 24, 2025. A funeral service to honor her life will be held 11:00 am Monday March 3, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1642 Williamson Rd. Macon, Georgia 31206. The family would like to invite friends to join them for a time of visitation 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Sunday, March 2, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, Georgia.
Angela was born in Macon, Georgia on January 15, 1958, to the late Mr. Allen D. Bare and Mrs. Mary Gilman Bare. Angela was a compassionate and dedicated women who touched many lives during her 45-year career as a nurse at Macon Medical Center. She loved her Lord and was a lifelong member of the Latter-Day Saints Church in Macon. She is described by her family as a loving and kind mother who would put her family above all else. She showed her love through her passions, especially cooking; she was known for her potato soup, hamburger gravy and her signature grits dressing. She loved playing all types of games; she could spend hours on a new board game or playing cards. She also loved music, specifically bluegrass. She was a member of the bluegrass association and could often be found at bluegrass festivals "Picking and Grinning". Later in life, she found her happiness playing with the grandchildren and great grandchildren or traveling with her family; one of her best memories was of her many family cruises. Her grace and dedication will be a lasting example for those that knew her best. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years William Leonard Boyd and brother, Kenneth Bare
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Brad (Meg) Boyd, Eric (Liz) Boyd, Brandon (Missy) Boyd; brothers, Tony (Denny) Bare, Mickey Bare; grandchildren, Spencer Crosby, Cloe Crosby, Tyler (Crystal) Porter, Kyle Boyd, Breanna Boyd, Emily Boyd, Gianna Boyd, Shylah Boyd, Rowan Boyd, Teddy Boyd; great grandchildren, Corbin Crosby, Esme Porter, Drake Porter, Alice Porter; fur baby, Hairy and many extended family.
