Amanda Jones, Mother, Homemaker, and life-long resident of Macon, Georgia unexpectedly passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 40 at Piedmont Hospital, Macon, Georgia.
Amanda is survived by her soulmate; Donald Tullius, daughters; Katherine and Miranda, sisters; Jessica Dominy and her children, Shelby and Christopher; other sister, Rebekah Henderson and her son, Aiden; grandmother, Ruth Minshew Ross and a host of many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunt and uncles.
Amanda is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann Higginbotham, and her father, Luke Vernon Jones.
Amanda was born in South Caroline on February 7, 1983, to the late Ruth Ann Higginbotham and Luke Vernon Jones. She worked as hard as she could as a mother, homemaker, and home chef for her children, partner and multiple family members. On May 1, 2020, and December 8, 2022, respectively, she welcomed her two beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of her life.
Amanda was a devoted mother and an avid chef. She enjoyed craft-making, cooking, went to 7 countries during her high school years at Westside High School as first chair flute player and drum major and played for the Queen of England Elizabeth the second.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on June 29, 2023, at Fairhaven Funeral Home; 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon, Georgia 31216. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
