Mandy Brazzell Freeman

After a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, Mandy Brazzell Freeman, 47, of Lizella, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 2, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with Pastor, Eddie Coatney officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.

Mandy was born on March 19, 1979, in Macon, Georgia. Throughout her life, she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and caring personality. She was proudly employed with State Farm, where she served as a Service Agent. Mandy took great pride in her work and enjoyed assisting and building relationships with those she served. Her commitment to helping others and the pride she found in her career reflected the kind and dependable person she was.

More than anything, Mandy will be remembered for the way she loved people. She had a gift for making others feel welcomed, important, and cared for, and once Mandy chose you, you often became family. She showed her love not only through words, but by showing up, through celebrations and difficult seasons alike, with loyalty, laughter, generosity, and her whole heart.

Mandy loved making memories with the people she cared for, whether traveling, shopping, dancing, singing karaoke, gathering with friends, or simply enjoying time together. Her warmth, sense of fun, and unmistakable presence brought joy wherever she went. To those fortunate enough to know her, Mandy was a devoted wife and mother, treasured friend, second mother, soul sister, and constant source of comfort and laughter. Her life was defined by the relationships she built and the extraordinary love she gave so freely.

Mandy was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Judy Griffin McGraw; Jack and Sarah Pollard, maternal grandparents; Jim & Dorothy Brazzell, paternal grandparents.

Left to cherish Mandy’s memory are her adoring husband of 21 years, Connor Freeman; son, Hunter Brazzell (Naydine Santos); mother, Pam Mullin (Freddie Mullin); father, Mike Brazzell (Jackie Brazzell); sister, April Brazzell; and bonus sister, Summer Bryant and her children, Carson, Colton, and Cameron.
