Alice Marie Wilson passed away after an extended illness Thursday, December 17. Alice Marie Lambert was born in Prosser Washington. Alice moved to Macon, GA in 1961 with her husband at the time Jimmy Kitchens. Alice taught 4th grade at St. Peter Claver in Macon for 10 years. She also worked at Sears Roebuck and Company part time. After leaving teaching she became a full time Sears employee where she retired from.
Alice married Ed Wilson in 1979 and they were married for 30 years until his death in December of 2009. Mom loved her family and leaves behind 2 children; Debra Kitchens Allen (Kevin), Mark Kitchens (Debbie), 3 grandchildren, Sterling Marie Bartlebaugh (J.C) and Kolby Craig Kitchens (deceased), Bobby Stewart (Lauren). Two great grand-children, Ola and Tripp. Alice had many friends she met and made throughout the years.
Graveside services will be held at Macon Memorial on Saturday, December 19, at 2pm. Father William McIntyre of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church will officiate.
