Addie Joyce (Phillips) Meek: 79, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Friendship Baptist Church, Twiggs County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Charles Carter will officiate.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 in FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the church on Tuesday.

Born in Twiggs County, She was the daughter of the late George and Lettie Mae Newberry Phillips. She was the widow of Dr. Harold Meek. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William T. Phillips.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kitchens of Macon, Georgia; sister, Sudie E. Sewell of Hilton Head, South Carolina.
